Top Sundance Films Created Using Blackmagic Design Cameras and DaVinci Resolve Studio
Fremont, CA – January 27, 2016 – Blackmagic Design today announced that DaVinci Resolve Studio, Blackmagic Cinema Cameras and Pocket Cinema Cameras were used on more than 35 films at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival.

Some of the most anticipated films from around the world, and in every category of the festival, were shot and completed using Blackmagic Design products. These films include Andre Hyland’s comedy “The 4th,” shot using Blackmagic Cinema Cameras and Pocket Cinema Cameras and graded with DaVinci Resolve Studio; and highly anticipated films such as “Other People,” “The Lobster” and Spike Lee’s “Michael Jackson’s Journey from Motown to Off the Wall,” which all were graded using DaVinci Resolve Studio.

Mark Todd Osborne is a 18-Year Senior Digital Colorist who works in all genres of media, from Features and TV Episodics to Commercials, Music Videos and Web Content. Recent Feature credits include “Lowriders” for Universal Pictures, Disney/DreamWorks “Need for Speed” and the theatrical hit “It Follows” for Radius/TWC, plus major commercial campaigns for Audi, Coca-Cola, Sonic Burger, Target, XBOX, Nissan, BMW and Toyota. Mark’s meticulous eye, professionalism and strong visual sense of taste and style make him a stand out Color Artist. Mark got his start at Company 3, Santa Monica, coloring High-End Spots and Music Videos, working with Top Level Directors & Cinematographers, before moving on to Digital Intermediates & Feature Film Mastering. He became the Lead HD Dailies Colorist for noted filmmakers Gore Verbinski, Michael Bay and Jerry Bruckheimer Films, as well as performing Final Color for Features Films such as the Academy Award Nominated “Capote” and “Sunshine Cleaning” to name a few. After eleven years at CO3, Mark left to pursue new challenges of coloring digital-sourced content on a variety of color systems and has formed strong relationships with several Post Facilities in the Los Angeles area and abroad. In 2011, Mark was hired as Supervising Colorist at CAMERON I PACE Group, coloring several 3D projects, including “Cirque du Soleil: World’s Away” for visionary co-founder Vince Pace and served as a Stereo Correction Specialist on Martin Scorsese’s Academy-Award Winning “Hugo”. In 2012, Mark performed color for James Cameron’s 3D “Deep Sea Challenge” for the Cannes Film Festival & IBC, as well as coloring the Emmy Award Winning shows “Children’s Hospital” and “Dirty Work”.
